Janet Opila-Lehman brings a wealth of experience as a bodyworker to the Finger Lakes Wellness Center & Health Spa. She has worked for over 30 years as an Occupational Therapist and over 15 years as a Massage Therapist. She is currently studying to be a Doctor of Naturopathy. Janet is the owner of the Wellness Center and the founder of their non-profit sister organization, Wellness G.I.F.T.S., which offers retreats to families with children with special needs.
Karen Fisk graduated from the Onondaga School of Massage in June 2004 and joined the Finger Lakes Wellness Center & Health Spa upon their opening in June 2005. She takes a special interest in connective tissue therapy and deep tissue massage, but enjoys Swedish massage as well. Karen has completed Level I training in Myofascial Release and has recently received her Certification as a Personal Trainer.
Debbie Sanford graduated from the Esthetics and Nail Program at Continental School in Rochester, NY. She started at the Finger Lakes Wellness Center & Health Spa for its first season in 2005 and offers lovely facials, manicures and pedicures. She worked previously as an Activity Director at the Livingston County Campus. Debbie has been married for 40 years, lives in Dalton and has 3 grandchildren.
Christine Hall is a graduate of Finger Lakes Community College in Canandagua, NY. She is trained in Swedish massage, deep tissue, connective tissue, and Shiatsu techniques. She lives in Wayland with her family and enjoys cooking and photography.
Pam Yaple is a talented and compassionate massage therapist, licensed in both New York and Pennsylvania, she is also nationally certified by the NCBTMB. Influenced by her commitment to caring for herself with non-traditional medicine, she pursued training in massage therapy at the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca. While at FLSM, she met her husband Ross and since then, they have both enjoyed developing their skills and practices together. Pam takes excellent care of you from your very first meeting. She is passionate about touching lives and helping to facilitate overall health and healing. Kim Galpin graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage, Ithaca, NY in 2000. She has practiced Social Work for the past 35 years and now enjoys her massage practice. She is particularly interested in Reflexology and the wonderful results it brings to her clients. She loves the history of Keuka Lake and living in the Finger Lakes region.
Ross Yaple graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage, Ithaca, NY in 2010. He is NYS licensed and Nationally Certified as a Massage Therapist. He loves the science of massage and figuring out how to get the best results for each individual. He enjoys the outdoors and music.
Karen Trepes is the Office / House Manager of the Wellness Center. She has been with the Center for over 4 1/2 years. She is a certified Reflexologist who studied at Laura Norman's School of Reflexology in NYC. She recently received her Associate Degree from FLCC. Karen lives in the hills above Hammondsport with her husband. She has two adult daughters and feels very blessed to be a part of the Wellness Center.
Abby Sawo graduated in 2005 from the Finger Lakes Technical Career Center, Flint, NY receiving her Cosmetologist license. She enjoys providing guests with excellent pedicure sessions. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her daughter.
Darcy Knoll graduated from Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, NY. She is licensed in New York state and is currently working on becoming nationally licensed. She enjoys integrating Deep Tissue therapy, Connective Tissue therapy, as well as Swedish to provide a fully body relaxation massage. Darcy loves to meet newpeople so stop in and say, Hello!.
